Prairie Lights, a popular holiday light display, returns Nov. 27-Dec. 31, 2008. The drive-through event is located in Lynn Creek Park, 5700 Lake Ridge Parkway, by Joe Pool Lake in Grand Prairie. More than 3 million twinkling lights in scenic displays are set along two miles of winding roads. The theme park also offers a unique out-of-car experience in Holiday Village midway through the drive with concessions, carousel rides, Santa’s Store for shopping and photos with Santa on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A new feature this year is Holiday Magic created by Josh Barnett’s
Lightasmic, which includes a 10-minute choreographed light show and a new walk-through lighted wonderland, “Holidays Around the World.” Prairie Lights will be open from 6-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday non-holidays and 6-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday and holidays. There is an admission cost per car.

consist of about a 21 block area, which is bordered by Preston on
the east side, Mockingbird as the northern border, the Dallas Toll way
on the west side and Armstrong Parkway, which should be your
entrance way. Exquisite holiday displays that will delight
both the young and old in this drive by tour of lights and
displays. Thank you Highland Park for giving so much at
Christmas time to the Dallas community. Excellent must see for all.

The 2008 Christmas in the Square is going to be bigger and better than before, with over 450,000 visitors expected! The largest choreographed holiday lights and music display in Texas is combined with family-oriented activities to produce a "signature destination event" for Frisco. Christmas in the Square lights and music will commence on November 28, 2008 and will continue each evening through January 2, 2009.

Dec. 2 - 31, 2008 - Farmers Branch Tour of Lights (Farmers
Branch, TX)
Thousands of vehicles are expected throughout December to feast their eyes on 300,000 lights in trees and on displays during the 2007 edition of the Farmers Branch Holiday Tour of Lights, continuing through the end of the month. The Holiday Tour now continues each night, from 6:30 until 9:30 p.m. through New Year’s Eve. The driving tour begins at I-35E at Valley View and follows the candy cane signs down William Dodson Parkway and around to the Farmers Branch Historical Park. Admission to the Historical Park portion is free with donations accepted by the non-profit organizations assisting with the display. - Fair Park Holiday Lights (Dallas, TX)
Bedazzle the holidays this year with music, lights, horse-drawn carriage rides, outdoor holiday movies at the Cotton Bowl, Dallas Wind Symphony concerts, plus free admission to the Fair Park museums and more at the Fair Park Holiday Lights, a two-day holiday festival on Saturday, December 13 and Sunday, December 14 on the grounds of Fair Park. Thousands of LED lights will be shining throughout the park during the holiday season! The family-friendly event will feature the Official City of Dallas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday at 6 p.m., and there will be a special candlelight tribute to the men and women serving in the military both nights at that time. Come enjoy free admission to all Fair Park museums from 3 – 7 p.m.

During the holiday season, homeowners in this northwest Arlington
subdivision join their neighbors in adorning their homes with
festive lights and holiday exhibits. This neighborhood attracts
spectators and tour groups from near and far. The holiday lights in
the Arlington neighborhood of Interlochen are known throughout the
Metroplex as a stunning display. The light competition usually

Wonderland Christmas is the name of our display, located in Corinth, Texas. 2008 will be the 7th year that we have decorated the house for Christmas. In 2005 we took the display to the next level with computer control. The lights are synchronized to music via a hardware and software solution called Light-O-Rama. This allows us to control the lights via computer, so that lights appear animated and dance in sync with the music. The 2008 Wonderland Christmas light display is now live. Display hours are 6:00-10:30pm nightly.

2009 Christmas display and invited the public to visit this free award winning display featuring over 100,000 computer controlled lights.
As one of only a few displays of this kind in Tarrant County, and the first on Eagle Mountain Lake, Lake Country Christmas features a continuous light show with Christmas lights synchronized to music. Visitors can tune their car radios to Lake Country Christmas’ broadcast frequency of 99.9 and listen to the music while they watch the light show.
