Nov. 15, 2007 - Jan. 5, 2008 - "ICE" (Grapevine, TX)
The resort’s popular ICE! exhibit will return this year with a variety of new ice sculptures including a train depot, igloo, gingerbread family, and walk-through Nativity scene. Most exciting will be this year’s bigger and better three-level ICE! slide! An impressive additional third slide, measuring 5 feet taller and 15 feet longer than last year’s slides, will curve around the interior of the exhibit to provide visitors with an even more exhilarating sliding experience. All sculptures inside of the 14,000-square-foot ICE! exhibit are hand-carved from two million pounds of ice by visiting artisans from Harbin, China. To keep visitors warm and cozy in the exhibit, which is maintained at a wintry 9 degrees, oversized parkas will be provided. Nov. 15, 2007 - Jan. 5, 2008 - Lone Star Christmas (Grapevine, TX)
Beginning November 15, 2007 – January 5, 2008, Lone Star Christmas at Gaylord Texan will dazzle visitors with decorated resort atriums featuring over 1.2 million holiday lights, magnificent electric train displays, a giant 40-foot tall Christmas tree, and 10,000 sparkling holiday ornaments, just to name a few. Special guests of Lone Star Christmas will include Santa in his workshop, Mrs. Claus with live reindeer, and a variety of strolling holiday entertainers. Nov. 23 - Jan. 6, 2008 - Holiday at the Arboretum (Dallas, TX)
The Dallas Arboretum once again enchants visitors with Holiday at the Arboretum: See The Amazing Chocolate Tree on Its Only Stop in The Southwest.

Nov. 29 - Dec. 2, 2007 - 13th Annual Christmas Nativity Display (Arlington, TX)
The 1,500 Nativity sets, created by artists from around the world, will be displayed in individually decorated rooms. In addition to the display, various churches, schools, and musicians from throughout Dallas-Fort Worth will perform. We will also be hosting a Photo Nativity again for your friends and families this year. Nov. 30 - Dec. 16, 2007 - The Nutcracker (Fort Worth, TX)
A Texas Ballet Theater favorite since the late 1960s, this grand production is a holiday tradition performed annually at Bass Performance Hall and the Music Hall at Fair Park. Audience members will delight in Artistic Director Ben Stevenson’s staging of the holiday story of Clara, whose Nutcracker Prince takes her to the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets. Dec. 7, 2007 - A. W. Perry Homestead Museum’s Annual Old-Fashioned Christmas (Carrollton, TX)
Victorian Carolers stroll the grounds of the museum spreading holiday cheer and guides provide informal tours of the historic home decorated for the season. Children can make an old-fashioned Christmas tree ornament in the craft tent and homemade style cookies and hot apple cider will be served. Bring your whole family to this popular celebration. The A. Dec. 1, 2007 - Drop-in Workshop Day at Old Red: “Christmas Past, Christmas Present” (Dallas, TX)
Stop by Old Red after a morning at the Neiman Marcus Adolphus Children’s Christmas Parade to continue your Christmas fun! Get in the Christmas spirit by exploring letters to Santa written by Dallas children 100 years ago, write your own letters to Santa to display at the Museum, and participate in other fun activities. Dec. 1, 2007 - Uptown Lights (Dallas, TX)
On December 1st, 2007 West Village will partner with the Uptown Dallas Association (UDA) to host an evening of holiday elegance, setting the stage for our first annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. The event will last from 5-10 p.m. and benefit the Genesis Women’s Shelter in Dallas. A grand scale tree will be on display in the South Alley of West Village between the Magnolia Theatre and Mi Cocina near the corner of Lemmon and McKinney Avenue. Local musical talent from the likes of Booker T. Dec. 1, 2007 - Neiman Marcus Adolphus Children's Parade (Dallas, TX)
On December 1, children of all ages are invited to go on a journey at the Neiman Marcus Adolphus Children's Parade. The theme, "All Aboard! 20 Years of Magic and Memories," is distinctive because it celebrates two decades since the parade began spreading holiday cheer to the children of Dallas. The nationally televised parade benefiting Children's Medical Center Dallas will entertain crowds with colorful floats, giant inflatables, and legendary character appearances. The parade will continue its tradition of theme-based floats, but parade viewers are in for a few special surprises. Floats will take viewers on a trip through time by featuring various methods of transportation, like hot air balloons, riverboats, trains and planes with a holiday twist. The “Holiday at the Hall” festival is held in Old Town Lewisville and features a wide range of free family events . Dec. 2, 2007 - Twinkle Light Parade on Lake Grapevine (Grapevine, TX)
Lake Grapevine to twinkle with holiday cheer! The water of Lake Grapevine will glisten during the Twinkle Light Parade on Lake Grapevine at dusk on Dec. 2. This lighted boat parade starts at Twin Coves Marina and picks up entries at each marina as it circles the lake. On Saturday, December 8, 2007 @ 6PM, we invite you to walk down Main Street, drink a cup of hot chocolate, smell the aroma of roasted nuts, listen to holiday music and watch the children awing at the lights and activities. By the end of the century, the Christmas tree, jolly old St. Nick (Santa Claus), and religious observances had become the norm. Dec. 21, 2007 - 2nd Annual Navidad Latinoamericana (Dallas, TX)
DFW International Community Alliance is proud to announce North Texas' second annual Navidad Latinoamericana at 7:30 pm on December 21 at Cathedral Santuario de Guadalupe at 2201 Ross Ave. in the Dallas Arts District. TEN different musical ensembles present the inspiring traditional Christmas rhythms of villancicos, aguinaldos and posadas from Latin America and Spain.
