A historical reenactment of the original Pawnee Bill's Wild West Show. The show features trick roping, trick shooting, trick riding, cowboy songs and an entertaining look at history. Historical figures such as Pawnee Bill come to life and transport the spectator back in time. Thursdays-Sundays from May 21 thru September 6, 2009 you can discover strolling entertainment, including musicians, caricature artists, stilt walkers and face painters in addition to a Texas art tour, a train exhibit, and musical performances. Jul. 1 - 4, 2009 - 85th Annual 4th of July Celebration & PRCA Rodeo (Belton, TX)
Since the early 1900s, Belton has hosted one of the largest Independence Day celebrations and parades in the state. Rodeo Belton kicks off Wednesday, July 1st through Saturday July 4th. July 3, 2009 -  Kaboom Town Fireworks Display (Addison, TX)
Addison’s most explosive party of the year. The dazzling 30-minute fireworks show is choreographed to music and a live radio simulcast on 100.3 JACK FM. July 3, 10, 17, 24,  31, & Aug. 7, 2009Scion Drag-n-Brag (Fort Worth, TX)
The Scion Drag-n-Brag program, an initiative to help curtail illegal street racing in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and provide a safer environment for racing enthusiasts, is expected to draw more than 250 competitors for Friday’s opening night at Texas Motor Speedway. Texas Motor Speedway will convert its pit lane on the 1.5-mile, high-banked oval into a 1/8-mile drag strip to accommodate the racing that will run each Friday evening for a six-week period that concludes Aug. 7. There will be four divisions – ATI Success Driven Tuner, Street Bandits, Sportsman and Street Outlaws – based on the type of vehicle, engine and modifications the competitors bring to race. July 4, 2009 -  Dr Pepper Snapple Group FAIR PARK FOURTH (Dallas, TX)
This year, for the second time, The Friends of Fair Park hosts a Fourth of July event called Fair Park Fourth Saturday, July 4 from 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Fair Park Fourth is free and open to the public and will feature a state-of-the-art national class fireworks program by Grucci Fireworks ... which will rank in the top 20 fireworks shows in the country held on the Fourth of July. The event will provide fun for the entire family and will include a patriotic program, free admission to all the museums, musical performances, games and plenty of Fourth of July food favorites. July 4, 2009 - 44th Annual 4th of July Parade (Arlington, TX)
The Arlington 4th of July Association would like to welcome you to the largest Independence Day Parade in Texas The parade is an annual event and consists of generally 150 entries. The number of spectators over the years has ranged from of 5,000 to 70,000. Parade entries include marching bands to exotic automobiles, military color guards to clowns, and dignitaries to unique presentations. Of course, the parade has a distinguished assortment of floats. Some floats are professionally built, but many are the proud results of individual ingenuity by local organizations and businesses. There is even an Award Ceremony after the parade at Knapp Heritage Park to recognize excellence within each of several categories. Jul. 4, 2009 - Liberty By The Lake July 4th Celebration (The Colony, TX)
Liberty By The Lake is back and better than ever! Bring out the whole family and celebrate America's freedom in The Colony - Texas style! With numerous events throughout the day, there really is something for everyone. For the second year Liberty by the Lake will be host to the 2009 R5Water-XRacing Tour, one of the countries up and coming personal watercraft racing circuits! The fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:30pm on July 4th. The shoot site for this year’s show will be from the tip of the Stewart Peninsula Golf Course, making Stewart Creek Park the prime viewing area for the show. The cities of DeSoto and Lancaster have combined their budgets to put on a great fireworks show. It will take place at Grimes Park located at 501 East Wintergreen Road in Desoto, Texas Free Entertainment starts at 5:30 pm featuring Malcolm, 6:00 pm Jeff Aycock, 6:30 pm Stop Six, 7:30 pm Buster Brown Band and 9:30 pm Fireworks to Music Show. Jul. 4, 2009 - Annual Independence Day Celebration (Flower Mound, TX)
Come join the Town of Flower Mound in celebrating the annual Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza a free family event at the Flower Mound High School Stadium 3411 Peters Colony. Fireworks begin at dusk. Gates will open at 7 p.m. Music will be provided by the Flower Mound Symphony Orchestra. The fireworks show and parking at Flower Mound High School are free. Thousands of residents and visitors are expected to celebrate our country’s most patriotic holiday at the 5th Annual Quad Cities Family 4th Fireworks Show. The Cities of North Richland Hills, Haltom City, Richland Hills and the Quad Cities DFW Foundation are hosting this year’s event. The City of Plano will be hosting the All-American Fourth fireworks show at Oak Point Park, 2801 Spring Creek Pkwy, on Saturday, July 4 at 9:30pm. Free parking is available at Collin College and First United Methodist Church. Other activities in Plano include the Independence Day Parade from Plano Senior High School north on Independence Parkway to Spring Creek Parkway. Parade time is 9:00am on the 4th. July 5, 2009 – Beyonce “I Am” World Tour (Dallas, TX)
International pop star Beyonce Knowles will perform at American Airlines Center on July 5 at 7:30 p.m. The most heavily anticipated concert event of the year.
