Jun. 1 & 2, 2007 - Old Tyme Barbeque Cook-off (Colleyville, TX)
Colleyville’s Old Tyme Bar-B-Q Cook-Off, benefiting Special Olympics, is scheduled Saturday, June 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., at The Village at Colleyville. A free pre-event concert by the Texas Cartel and other bands will kick off the Old Tyme Bar-B-Q Cook-off on Friday evening, June 1. Jun. 6 - 8, 2008 - Texas Scottish Festival & Highland Games (Arlington, TX)
Many people discover they’re a wee bit Scottish at the TEXAS SCOTTISH FESTIVAL & HIGHLAND GAMES, now celebrating its 22nd year, and scheduled for June 6-7-8, 2008. Renowned for its outstanding entertainment, the Festival again hosts top Scottish musicians, professional athletes and champion highland dancers. The festival has five large entertainment tents this year to showcase the national and regional celtic, folk, and Scottish entertainers. June 7, 2008 - Highland Village Days Red, White & Blue Festival (Highland Village, TX)

Jun. 2, 2007 - 14th Annual Dog Days of Summer (Denton, TX)
Bring your best friend to the park in downtown Denton for a day of fur-filled fun at the Dog Days of Denton, Saturday, June 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.. The Farm and Flower Festival at Farmers Market promotes gardening and healthy living with workshops by Dallas County Master Gardeners and famed horticulturists Neil Sperry and Felder Rushing. Jun. 2 - 30, 2007 - Outside the Lines 7 - Art Exhibition (Dallas, TX)
The Bath House Cultural Center presents Outside the Lines 7, a juried art exhibition, June 2-30, 2007. This exhibition features 19 local and regional artists and presents works in different media, including painting, sculpture, photography, etchings, installation art and mixed media. The artwork contained in this exhibition was selected by a panel of jurors made up by Sue Flynn, Ryan Fitzer and Viola Delgado. An opening reception and award ceremony with the artists will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2007 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Jun. 4 - 9, 2007 - Dublin Dr Pepper 116th Birthday Celebration (Dublin, TX)
This June the oldest soft drink bottling plant in the world celebrate its 116th Birthday. And Dublin Dr Pepper wants you to help us celebrate. Two or more people, in ordinary cars - or on a motorcycle- on regular roads, within the legal speed limit, make up a rally team. The challenge is to drive safely and accurately with the clues, directions, and somewhat cryptic instructions you are given. There may be a puzzle to solve or a fun activity to participate in. They key is to have fun and enjoy the day! The Rally will take place June 16th, 2007 with registration beginning at 7:30am and the Rally starting promptly at 8:30am. The Muscular Dystrophy Association has issued arrest warrants for many of Dallas’s executives and community leaders. As members of the area’s “Most Wanted”, these jailbirds are going to be “Locked Up” to benefit the MDA. Stephanie Edgington, manager of Carrabba’s, will be participating in the Midtown Dallas Red Carpet Rally for a Cure Lock-Up on June 28. Going above and beyond her duty as an MDA jailbird, Stephanie will open Carrabba’s at 6130 Luther Lane in Dallas for lunch on Saturday June 23. The restaurant is normally closed for lunch but on June 23 from 11 a.m. through 1:30 p.m. she will serve two entrees, and all of the proceeds will go towards her bail for the Midtown Dallas Lock-Up the following Thursday. Trinity River Fiesta is a new celebration of community unity at Victory Park. There's a family health fair, conservation and environmental exhibits, multicultural art, live entertainment, children's activities, food and fireworks.
