9am-4:30pm with extended hours offered from 7am - 6pm for an additional fee. $200 per camper, fee includes supplies, snacks, and drinks. Jun. 2 - 30, 2009 – “Sounds of Lewisville” Summer Concert Series (Lewisville, TX)
Five top regional acts have been scheduled for the “Sounds of Lewisville” Summer Concert Series, presented for the 20th consecutive year by the City of Lewisville The free concerts will be held on Tuesday nights, from June 2 through June 30, starting at 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Old Town Lewisville Wayne Ferguson Plaza Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Alcohol is prohibited at the concert series. Reel Lewisville Music and Movie Nights are June 23 and June 30. Many people discover they’re a wee bit Scottish at the TEXAS SCOTTISH FESTIVAL & HIGHLAND GAMES, now celebrating its 23rd year, and scheduled for June 5-6-7, 2009. Renowned for its outstanding entertainment, the Festival again hosts top Scottish musicians, professional athletes and champion highland dancers. The festival has five large entertainment tents this year to showcase the national and regional celtic, folk, and Scottish entertainers. Highlander Magazine has rated the Texas Scottish Festival the number one Scottish festival in North America for entertainment and talent. Jun. 5, 2009 - 3rd Annual Beastro "taste the wild" (Fort Worth, TX)
Beastro, the Zoo’s third annual tasting event is scheduled for Friday, June 5, 2009 from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. Every year, proceeds from this event support the Zoo’s local and international wildlife conservation efforts. Jun. 7, 13, & 20, 2009 - Connemara Conservancy Meadow Preserve Nature Events (Plano, TX)
Summer has arrived and Connemara Conservancy Meadow Preserve is kicking off the season with a series of June events for the North Texas community. The land trust is offering guided walks and more for the general public at The Meadow, the organization’s 72-acre land preservation on the border of Allen and Plano, just off Alma Drive. Jun. 8 - 13, 2009 - Dublin Dr Pepper 118th Birthday Celebration (Dublin, TX)
Mark your calendars now...June 13, 2009, the oldest Dr Pepper bottling plant in the world located in Dublin, Texas will celebrate its 118th Birthday. And this year's celebration will be “There’s No Place Like Home”. Come join the Land of Oz. This year's celebration actually begins on Monday, June 8 when for one week the Dublin city limit signs are changed to Dr Pepper, Texas. Friday night, Alleyfest will kick off with only the best in arts and crafts displayed in Hogan’s Alley. But early Saturday is when the real fun begins starting with the 10-2-4k runs. The 10-2-4k run is a charity run with all proceeds going to the Lions Club charities. After the run award ceremonies, there will be plenty of entertainment to fill the rest of the day. All carnival games and food booths are run by charitable organizations, and all money raised during the birthday will go to charity.
