Nov. 1 - 4, 2007 - Race Week at Texas Motor Speedway (Fort Worth, TX)
 Nov. 1 - The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series kicks off the NASCAR tripleheader weekend with practice and qualifying on 7-Eleven Qualifying Day. Watch Chevrolet battle Ford, Dodge and Toyota to determine the fastest truck in Texas. Nov. 2 - It’s a day packed with NASCAR Busch and NEXTEL CUP practice and qualifying; action that will set the scene for their respective races. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will shine under the Texas Motor Speedway lights in the Silverado 350k. Nov. 3 - The O’Reilly Challenge will attract drivers from all NASCAR divisions in search of a prestigious visit to Victory Lane following the 300 miles of NASCAR Busch Series action. Nov. 4 - The pressure is on in the Dickies 500 — the 8th of 10 races in the Chase for the NASCAR NEXTEL CUP to determine the 2007 champion.  A late-afternoon green flag will produce the closing laps under the lights — reuniting the popular day-night format for the Dickies 500. This fall, come celebrate 31 years of tradition at the Lakewood Home Festival in Dallas, TX. Located in the East Dallas area, the Home Festival is three days of fun events that benefit the community. To begin the Festival, an exclusive Candlelight Tour of the Homes is held Friday night. Nov. 3 - 4, 2007 - 54th Annual Ceramic and Doll Show (Fort Worth, TX)
This Ceramic and Doll Show is the largest ceramics show in Texas and will be held at the Amon Carter Exhibit Building on Burnett Tandy Drive November 3rd & 4th, 2007. Nov. 3 - 24, 2007 - Rhythm and Romance Dinner Cruise (Granbury, TX)

To expand on the popular Baseball As America exhibition, Museum of Nature & Science (MNS) is offering a series of four public lectures featuring three Hall of Famers and celebrity sports media and book authors. On November 8th, we will present “Baseball’s Horatio Alger” featuring Hall of Famer Lou Brock. From his start as a share cropper’s child to becoming a key player for the St. Louis Cardinals and his ultimate induction in to the Hall of Fame in 1985, Lou tells his story of overcoming odds in spite of adversity. Nov. 10, 2007 - 7th Annual B.G. Squirrel Run (Fort Worth, TX)
Join us for the 7th Annual B.G. Squirrel Run on Saturday, November 10, 2007. This year we will have two 5K runs: one for adults age 18 and over and one for youth under age 18. There will be a 10K run and a 1K A-Maze-Ing race as well. Runners will receive a custom t-shirt and a chance to win door prizes. Our Mountain Man Weekend gives youth and adults alike, the opportunity to experience and enjoy a valuable part of Americana, how our ancestors survived in the American frontier". Through song, storytelling and historical reenactment of an era unfamiliar to us all, Mountain Man Gathering will provide a window to the past with authenticity as the key. The Fort Worth show is held at the Amon Carter Exhibit Hall at the Will Rogers Memorial Center (3401 W Lancaster Ave.) each year in November. In 2007 it will be November 10-11. Nov. 11, 2007 - Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra Veteran's Day Concert (Dallas, TX)
The GDYO Wind Symphony and Philharmonic November 11, 2007 – “Veteran’s Day Concert” - 7:30 pm at the Meyerson Symphony Center. Nov. 11, 2007 - Chile Pepperama Festival! (Dallas, TX)
Medical City Heart presents The Chile Pepperama sponsored by Budweiser salutes the spicy impact of the Chile Pepper and other hot and fiery ingredients on Texas cuisine. Willing connoisseurs of all ages can sample and judge over a dozen chilis created by some the area's finest chefs at the Texas Chefs Association's "Chili Confrontation Cook-Off". Visitors can then cool down their taste buds with a stop at the "Pumpkin Ice Cream Crank Off" where junior members of the Texas Chefs Association will be busy churning out buckets of the homemade creamy confection.
