Held every third Saturday in October, the Fall Festival and Scarecrow contest attracts large crowds from all over the state. The Fall Festival is a fun-filled Saturday featuring 100's
of arts, crafts, artists, food vendors and children's activities. Attendees vote for the best Scarecrow, a contest that is becoming more and more competitive each year.
A street festival with food vendors, arts & crafts booths, and entertainment. A 5K Run and a children's pageant have been added this year.

Dallas Race for the Cure®. The Dallas Komen Race for the Cure® is a 1K or a 5K run/walk event held at NorthPark Center. It is a co-ed race and great fun for the whole family. The Race is in its 25th year, and is part of a national 5K series sponsored by Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The goal of the event is to heighten awareness and education about breast cancer as well as to recognize and celebrate breast cancer survivorship.
